Before all that happened, I was a lost college student that had zero direction in my life. Due to that, I used worldly desires and food to feel better about myself rather than face my problems head on. Four months of numbing out. Late night binges, endless shows, chasing comfort—took me from 195 In December '24 to 235 in April '25. I kept lifting, but I was really running.

From purpose, from pain, from myself. Everything came to a head on April 19th at a men’s retreat. I was first in line, first for seconds, and people had to tell me to wait for others first. That's how bad my dependance on food for comfort was. Then, my brother in Christ did something that would change my life forever. The moment I still can’t unsee to this day. A dim basement stairwell, me flexing for laughs while my brothers in Christ looked on.\One shaky phone video and I finally saw the man I was becoming. That clip didn’t just embarrass me. It saved my life. That was the moment everything changed for me. I started with fixing my relationship with God by cutting out anything that caused me to fall into sin. I decided to drop out of college to work fulltime while I began eating better & getting on a structured resistance training routine. I kept all of that up for 10 months, and the result of all that was me dropping 50lbs in that time frame (235-185).The purpose in this class is to help Christian men struggling with their weight, confidence, and most importantly walk with God. Using accountability tools, biblical examples, and engaging lessons, I will start by shifting your mindset and changing your perspective on viewing difficult life situations. Once the mindset and faith in God is strengthened, I will then showcase the tools I used to track my food, eat better, as well as train hard. Additionally, ill also showcase what I'm doing to keep off the weight for life, and how you can do so yourself.
