Private Pilot ground school

provides students with the aeronautical knowledge needed to prepare for the FAA Private Pilot Airplane Knowledge Test and begin private pilot flight training. Topics include aerodynamics, aircraft systems, flight instruments, FAA regulations, airspace, airport operations, weather, navigation, flight planning, weight and balance, aircraft performance, aeromedical factors, and aeronautical decision-making. The course also introduces students to practical cross-country planning and safe flight operations. No previous aviation experience is required.
