“Master drawing with my unique simple method”

Hi, I’m Noel Suarez. I was born with a natural ability to draw and was fortunate to study under great teachers. However, it is my 40 years of professional painting and sculpting career that gave me the deep understanding, perception, and knowledge I bring to you today.

This level of mastery cannot be fast-tracked; it only comes from decades of dedicated research and constant practice.

My Philosophy: It All Starts with a Drawing

The more I create, the clearer it becomes that drawing is the foundation of becoming a great artist and building a successful career. Every masterpiece follows a beautiful evolution:

The Inspiration becomes a quick sketch.

The Sketch evolves into a detailed drawing study.

The Study becomes the underpainting on the final paper, canvas, or wall.

Through this process, we unlock a deeper understanding of composition, subject matter, and the dramatic values of chiaroscuro (light and shadow). This is the exact knowledge I am passionate about passing down to you.

Why My Online Classes are Different

The success of my classes goes far beyond technical mechanics. My goal is to share the passion behind the practice. Technical skill is vital, but the artistic side is where the magic happens. It makes painting fun and empowers you to become the true creator of your work. I will teach you how to take a photograph, a still-life, or a landscape and create your own unique variation of it. See Beyond the Canvas When you look at a reference, don't just paint what is already there. I want to teach you how to see beyond the model or the photograph. Developing your eye takes time and requires plenty of trial and error. But with patience, your growing artistic and technical confidence will soon reveal the true, creative passion fueling it all. Are you ready to begin? Let's start creating together.

About your instructor, Noel -:

I'm a Cuban-American painter and sculptor, my artistic journey blends my ballet background with my passion inspired by the Classical Masters. Born in an artistic family, drawing earned me a place at Havana’s San Alejandro Academy. During my Ballet career, drawing and painting led me to design sets and costumes for the companies I danced with. My painting career started at 30, fusing my knowledge of anatomy and motion with my passion for Classical Art, Art Deco, and Cubism. For the past 14 years I taught art around the world with my artist in residencies. Very proud and pleased to be one of Miami’s pioneer artists, presently doing a residency at Miami Design Preservation League Art Deco Museum, until January 19/2027. Looking forward to this journey with you at Passion Class.
