Success as a masters athlete depends on much more than logging big miles. We will cover proper recovery, the importance of sleep and nutrition, hydration strategies, strength training for improving performance and preventing injuries. We will discuss management of common injuries before they become major setbacks. We will discuss adaptability to our work schedules, our families, the weather, and travel and other challenges that invariably come up with marathon preparation so you can stay healthy and consistent from day one until you cross that finish line.
