My classes combine techniques from Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and Krav Maga, giving students a well-rounded foundation in striking, grappling, and practical self-defense. Every session is designed to be engaging, energetic, and accessible, with a focus on developing proper technique, improving physical fitness, and building mental resilience. Students will not only gain valuable martial arts skills but also improve their coordination, discipline, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Training in martial arts is about much more than learning how to fight. It is a tremendous outlet for relieving stress, improving overall health, and building lasting confidence. The lessons learned on the mats—perseverance, respect, determination, and self-control—carry over into everyday life. My hope is that every student leaves each class feeling stronger, more capable, and excited to continue their martial arts journey.
It’s a tremendous release, a great way to build confidence, improve fitness, learn practical self-defense, and challenge yourself while having an awesome time. Class is always open to questions, don’t be shy.
I have over 15 years of martial arts training, with Muay Thai and Kickboxing as my primary disciplines. I have also trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for five years under Charlie Cosens and have had the privilege of training multiple times with UFC pioneer Dan Severn and former UFC fighter Darren Cruickshank. I have organized and instructed martial arts classes in Bay City, Flushing, and Bad Axe, Michigan, with classes of 16 or more students.
I have taught students ranging from ages 3 to 82, adapting my instruction to help individuals of all skill levels succeed. In addition, I have led self-defense seminars throughout the Bay Area of Michigan, including women’s self-defense programs and school demonstrations. My passion is helping students build confidence, develop practical skills, and reach their full potential through martial arts.
