Welcome to my "Introduction to Self-Improvement" class. I am passionate about creating a space where we can explore, learn, and grow together. I hope you'll join us on this journey to empower ourselves better make the most out of ourselves and our lives.
Class Time:
6 hours of learning!
Let me tell you about me: I've working on self-improvement strategies to improve myself for the last several years. Every day at work I talk with people about the problems and situations they face and coach them on becoming better. I love to read self-improvement books- my current project is "Set the Limits That Will Set You Free" by Melissa Urban. I am excited to share my experience with you and get to know your personal situation, and think through ways we can make improvements in our lives.
Every class period, I want to discuss a new topic that I think is important for self-improvement. I'll share pieces of my journey along the way and then we'll discuss together a theoretical concept (e.g., how we look at ourselves), coming up with a structure to think about the problem. Finally, I'll give you the opportunity to also share your experiences and challenges (but no pressure!). We can offer a few suggestions for each other, but the space is really meant for people to explore in themselves strategies for self-improvement, and I hope you'll view other members' contributions primarily as inspiration for your own journey.
Three Modules are planned for our class: (a) Self-love: how we look at ourselves, (b) Positive thinking: what it is and what it does, and (c) Implementation: how we can improve our lives. I'll design a fourth module after meeting you and hearing where we're at!
I want to create a supportive environment in our class meetings. I believe that fostering a community where we can share our perspectives, experiences, and challenges is crucial for personal development.
I encourage you to bring your authentic selves to our virtual space. Share your thoughts and take the opportunity to learn not just from me but from each other. This is a shared experience, and I am here to facilitate, guide, and learn alongside you.
I hope you will sign up for the class, and I mean to make it a positive experience that helps you to live a better life!
