Hatha Vinyasa: Move, Breathe & Be: Yoga is more than the shapes we make with our bodies. This mindful Hatha Vinyasa class invites you to move with intention, connect with your breath, and create a little more space between the busyness of everyday life and the present moment.

Hatha Vinyasa: Move, Breathe & Be

Each class will blend the steady, grounding qualities of Hatha yoga with the flowing movement of Vinyasa. We’ll explore thoughtfully sequenced postures designed to build strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness while encouraging you to listen to your body and honor where you are each day.

Breath will be an important part of the practice. We’ll incorporate simple pranayama techniques to help connect breath and movement, settle the nervous system, and cultivate focus. Classes will also include mindfulness practices and a short meditation, creating opportunities to turn inward and develop greater awareness both on and off the mat. Whether you’re newer to yoga or have an established practice, you’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace and explore modifications that make the practice feel right for you\. My goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every body and every level can practice.

About your instructor, Amy:

I’m Amy, the founder of Vital Yogis and an RYT 500 yoga teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. My teaching background includes Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Restorative Yoga, with a focus on creating practices that are accessible, intentional, and meaningful for every body and every level. After spending more than three decades working in healthcare, I found that yoga offered something I deeply valued: a way to connect the physical body with the breath, mind, and present moment. That mind-body connection is at the heart of why I teach. I love helping students discover that yoga doesn’t have to be about achieving the “perfect” pose. It’s about learning to listen to your body, work with your breath, build strength and mobility, and create moments of stillness and awareness.I’m especially excited to bring mindfulness, pranayama, meditation, and intentional movement together in my classes. My goal is for students to leave each practice feeling stronger and more balanced.
