Because your story deserves space, and your voice deserves to be heard. This class is for anyone who’s ever carried a story inside them, one that aches to be told, one that holds both pain and power. Write to Rise is a space where we’ll use writing as a way to heal, reflect, and reclaim. Through memoir, poetry, and journaling, we’ll explore how our lived experiences shape us and how putting them into words can help us rise.
Class Time:
24 hours of learning!
You’ll learn how to write with honesty and heart, how to shape your memories into meaning, and how to trust your voice even when it shakes. We’ll use creative prompts, storytelling frameworks, and gentle feedback to guide your process. Whether you’re writing through grief, rediscovering joy, or just trying to make sense of your journey, this class will meet you where you are, with compassion and care.
I’m not just your instructor; I’m walking this path too. As an educator, memoirist, and advocate, I’ve learned that storytelling isn’t just about writing, it’s about survival, connection, and truth-telling. I’ve taught in classrooms, led small groups, and written through heartbreak and healing. I believe in emotionally safe spaces, student voice, and the kind of learning that honors who we are, not just what we’ve been through.
We’ll meet weekly, with time to write, share (if you choose), and reflect. You’ll get access to recorded guidance, downloadable resources, and optional one-on-one feedback. No fancy writing background needed, just a willingness to show up and be real.
If you’re ready to turn your story into strength, to write with purpose and rise with clarity, this class is for you. Let’s write the truth and let it set us free.
