You'll paint, play, explore, and discover how to transform a blank canvas into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Every class is interactive, encouraging, and filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughs.There are no grades, no pressure, and no "wrong" way to create. You'll learn beginner-friendly techniques while building confidence with every brushstroke. Whether your style is bold and vibrant or calm and expressive, you'll leave with artwork that reflects you.I'm an art teacher, creative educator, and the founder of The Jay Legacy Fine Art Collective, where I celebrate creativity, culture, and self-expression through art. I've been creating art for over 40 years, and abstract art has always been one of my greatest passions. I believe everyone has an artist inside them, and nothing brings me more joy than helping others discover theirs. My classes are welcoming, engaging, encouraging, and designed to help beginners feel comfortable from the very first brushstroke.Virtual Classes: Bring a canvas (or mixed-media paper), acrylic paints, brushes, water, paper towels, and an apron or old shirt. Feel free to bring palette knives, sponges, texture tools, or any fun supplies you'd like to experiment with.In-Person Classes: Participants typically bring their own supplies unless otherwise noted. Optional specialty paints, texture mediums, brushes, mixed-media embellishments, and other materials for creating textured or 3D artwork may be available for an additional fee.Mondays | 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Eastern Time)Available virtually and in person.If this time doesn't fit your schedule, use the "Suggest Your Own Meeting Times" option. I'll do my best to accommodate your availability.Each class includes live demonstrations, easy-to-follow instruction, creative prompts, and plenty of encouragement while you develop your own artistic style.
