I earned a B.S. Degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. My work experience includes working for Price Waterhouse, PPG and a large school district. I have had numerous executive titles including President, Chief Financial Officer and Business Manager. I have started for profit and not for profit companies. I have provided budgeting and tax advisory services to several professional athletes. I previously taught this course as a full semester course to college students. I have a passion for teaching this course because I believe most people go through their lives without having been taught even basic principles of how to properly manage their personal finances. This is why so many people struggle trying to maximize their wealth because they lack adequate knowledge on how to maximize their income while minimizing their expenses..
