This class is designed for anyone feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to manage work, school, responsibilities, and personal life without burning out or while managing burnout. Together, we’ll break down the key areas of balance — mental health, physical health, personal life, and professional life — and explore practical strategies you can apply immediately.
Students will learn how to identify signs of work–life imbalance, set realistic and meaningful goals, establish healthier boundaries, and use simple time-management tools that actually work in real life. You’ll leave with greater clarity around your priorities, a personalized reflection on where imbalance shows up for you, and concrete next steps to move toward a more balanced lifestyle.
I am the ideal instructor for this class because I come from a background in public health and health education, with experience teaching wellness-focused workshops and supporting individuals through habit change, stress management, and self-reflection. My approach blends evidence-based health education with mindfulness, coaching, and real-life application — no lectures, no pressure, just supportive guidance.
This PassionClass is conducted live and is highly interactive. Expect guided discussions, reflective activities, practical exercises (like prioritization and boundary-setting), and shared learning in a supportive, judgment-free space.
Hi! I’m Savannah Barrios — a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), public health professional, and wellness-focused educator passionate about helping people create balance in their lives without guilt or burnout.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and have experience teaching and facilitating wellness-focused classes and workshops centered on stress management, time management, boundaries, and sustainable lifestyle habits. My work focuses on translating evidence-based health information into simple, actionable tools people can realistically apply to their everyday lives.
I was drawn to the topic of work–life balance after seeing — both personally and professionally — how chronic stress, lack of boundaries, and unrealistic expectations can negatively impact mental health, physical health, and overall well-being. I believe balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly, but about awareness, intention, and learning how to support yourself through different seasons of life.
What excites me most about teaching this class is creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where people feel safe to reflect, participate, and reset. I love guiding others toward clarity and helping them reconnect with what truly matters to them in a way that feels empowering, compassionate, and sustainable.
