The class will be conducted in sections. Each section will lean into the next. For example, we will start with "Foundations of Meditation", "What is Meditation?", "Ways to Meditate", "Creating my unique Meditation Practice" into "Journaling & Self-Reflection", then "Positive Affirmations", "Music & Emotions", then "Somatic Movement", and " Emotional Art". Each section will have Activities and teachings around the nervous system and intro level psychology. The goal of this class is to provide people with tools for dealing with their emotions and the knowledge of why it's important to create healthy habits.
Peace and love :) My name is Deja and I am an Artist, Educator, Holistic Wellness Coach, and Certified Art Therapy Practitioner. I have been in the space of Holistic Wellness through the Arts for over 5 years having the opportunity to conduct workshops online, NYC (my home town), Africa, and Mexico. With my personal experience of the Creative Arts being cathartic, I am passionate about helping others to see the transformation and healing that art can bring. This is the work that I will always do as it is apart of my calling. I am so excited to create more spaces like this as I continue to travel the world.
